And coming forth, they found a man, a Cyrenian, by name Simon: him they impressed that he might bear his cross;

And they compelled one Simon, a Cyrenian, (the father of Alexander and Eufus,) who was passing by, coming in from the country, to bear his cross.

AND when they led him away, they took Simon, a certain Cyrenian, coming from the country, and put on him the cross to bear after Jesus.
