'Defeat' in the Bible

The Lord laughs at him [the wicked one—the one who oppresses the righteous],For He sees that his day [of defeat] is coming.

Those who anticipate my defeat attack me all day long. Indeed, many are fighting against me, O Exalted One.

Those who hate the Lord would pretend obedience to Him and cringe before Him,And their time of punishment would be forever.

All the nations surrounded me; but in the name of the LORD I will defeat them.

They surrounded me, they are around me; but in the name of the LORD I will defeat them.

They surrounded me like bees; but they will be extinguished like burning thorns. In the name of the LORD I will defeat them.
