'Destroy' in the Bible

“I will destroy her vines and fig trees,Of which she said, ‘These are my wagesWhich my lovers have given me.’And I will make them a forest,And the beasts of the field will devour them.

So you will stumble by day,And the prophet also will stumble with you by night;And I will destroy your mother.

Their heart is faithless;Now they must bear their guilt.The Lord will break down their altarsAnd destroy their sacred pillars.

I will not execute My fierce anger;I will not destroy Ephraim again.For I am God and not man, the Holy One in your midst,And I will not come in wrath.
