'Dogs' in the Bible

Because dogs have surrounded me; a gang of evildoers has encircled me. Like the lion [they are at] my hands and my feet.

Rescue my life from [the] sword, my only [life] from [the] power of [the] dogs.

They return at evening; they howl like dogs while they prowl [the] city.
