'Fought' in the Bible

When David was informed, he gathered all Israel together and crossed the Jordan, and came to Helam. Then the Arameans assembled in battle formation to meet David and fought against him.

And the men of the city came out and fought against Joab, and some of the people among the servants of David fell; Uriah the Hittite also died.

Now Joab fought against Rabbah of the Ammonites and captured the royal city.

Joab sent messengers to David and said, “I have fought against Rabbah; I have even taken the city of waters.

So David gathered all the men together and went to Rabbah, then fought against it and captured it.

So the men went out into the field against Israel, and the battle was fought in the forest of Ephraim.

Now the Philistines were at war again with Israel. David went down with his servants, and as they fought against the Philistines, David became weary.
