'Gloom' in the Bible
That night let gloom seize upon it; let it not rejoice among the days of the year; let it not come into the number of the months.
A land of gloom, as darkness itself; of the shadow of death, without any order, where the light is as thick darkness.
Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither hath he hidden the gloom from me.
and they will look to the earth; and behold, trouble and darkness, gloom of anguish; and they shall be driven into thick darkness.
a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and gross darkness, as the dawn spread upon the mountains; a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after them, to the years of generations and generations.
That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of ruin and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and gross darkness,
For if God spared not the angels who had sinned, but having cast them down to the deepest pit of gloom has delivered them to chains of darkness to be kept for judgment;
These are springs without water, and mists driven by storm, to whom the gloom of darkness is reserved for ever.
raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shames; wandering stars, to whom has been reserved the gloom of darkness for eternity.
