'Hearken' in the Bible

And now, ye sons, hearken to me, And turn not from sayings of my mouth.

Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.

Hearken, for noble things I speak, And the opening of my lips is uprightness.

Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.

Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.

If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.
