'Inscribed' in the Bible
"{O that} my words could be written down! {O that they could be inscribed in a scroll}!
Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of [my] hands; your walls [are] continually before me.
So then the palm of the hand was sent out from his presence and this writing was inscribed.
"Now this was the writing that was inscribed: 'Mene, Mene, Tekel and Parsin.'
However, I will tell you {what is inscribed} in [the] book of truth, and there is not one [who] contends with me against these [beings] {except} Michael, your prince."
On that day there will be [inscribed] on the bells of the horses, "Holy to Yahweh." And the cooking pots in the house of Yahweh will be [holy] like the sacrificial basins before the altar.
Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are inscribed in heaven."
For [as I] was passing through and observing carefully your objects of worship, I even found an altar on which was inscribed, 'To an unknown God.' Therefore what you worship without knowing [it], this I proclaim to you--
You are our letter, inscribed on our hearts, known and read by all people,
revealing that you are a letter of Christ, delivered by us, inscribed not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on stone tablets but on tablets of human hearts.
