'Justify' in the Bible

“What can we say to my lord?” Judah replied. “How can we plead? How can we justify ourselves? God has exposed your servants’ iniquity. We are now my lord’s slaves—both we and the one in whose possession the cup was found.”

Stay far away from a false accusation. Do not kill the innocent and the just, because I will not justify the guilty.

But if you have something to say, answer me;speak, for I would like to justify you.

Would you really challenge My justice?Would you declare Me guilty to justify yourself?

He will see it out of His anguish,and He will be satisfied with His knowledge.My righteous Servant will justify many,and He will carry their iniquities.
