'Led' in the Bible
The leaders of this nation were misleading people, and the people being led were destroyed.

He was led away after an unjust trial -- but who even cared? Indeed, he was cut off from the land of the living; because of the rebellion of his own people he was wounded.
Indeed you will go out with joy; you will be led along in peace; the mountains and hills will give a joyful shout before you, and all the trees in the field will clap their hands.
who led them through the deep water? Like a horse running on flat land they did not stumble.
