'Lengthen' in the Bible

Hezekiah answered, "It's an easy thing for a shadow to lengthen ten steps. So let the shadow go backward ten steps."

But things will not go well for the wicked person: he will not lengthen his life like a shadow, since he has no fear before God.

"Enlarge the location of your tent, let the curtains of your dwellings be stretched wide, and don't hold back. Lengthen your cords; strengthen your stakes.

"They do everything to be seen by people. They increase the size of their phylacteries and lengthen the tassels of their garments.
