'Liberal' in the Bible

“For you say, ‘Where is the house of the noble man?And where is the tent, the dwelling place of the wicked?’

The generous man [is a source of blessing and] shall be prosperous and enriched,And he who waters will himself be watered [reaping the generosity he has sown].

Many will seek the favor of a generous and noble man,And everyone is a friend to him who gives gifts.

But the noble man conceives noble and magnificent things;And he stands by what is noble and magnificent.

Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, willing to share [with others].
