'Marvel' in the Bible

I have become a marvel to many,For You are my strong refuge.

Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.

Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice,

Jesus answered them, “I did one deed, and you all marvel.

But when Peter saw this, he replied to the people, “Men of Israel, why are you amazed at this, or why do you gaze at us, as if by our own power or piety we had made him walk?

When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he approached to look more closely, there came the voice of the Lord:

‘Behold, you scoffers, and marvel, and perish;For I am accomplishing a work in your days,A work which you will never believe, though someone should describe it to you.’”

Do not be surprised, brethren, if the world hates you.
