'Mind' in the Bible
But as it is written, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love him."
For "Who has known the mind of the Lord so that he can advise him?" However, we have the mind of the Messiah.
However, if a man stands firm in his resolve, feels no necessity, and has made up his mind to keep her a virgin, he will be acting appropriately.
That is the way I run, with a clear goal in mind. That is the way I fight, not like someone shadow boxing.
For if I pray in a foreign language, my spirit prays but my mind is not productive.
What does this mean? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind. I will sing psalms with my spirit, but I will also sing psalms with my mind.
But in church I would rather speak five words with my mind to instruct others than 10,000 words in a foreign language.
Now if the whole church gathers in the same place and everyone is speaking in foreign languages, when uneducated people or unbelievers come in, they will say that you are out of your mind, won't they?
