'Month' in the Bible
"This month is to be your beginning of months; it will be your first month of the year.
Tell the whole community of Israel, 'In the tenth day of this month they each must take a lamb for themselves according to their families -- a lamb for each household.
You must care for it until the fourteenth day of this month, and then the whole community of Israel will kill it around sundown.
In the first month, from the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you will eat bread made without yeast until the twenty-first day of the month in the evening.
On this day, in the month of Abib, you are going out.
When the Lord brings you to the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, then you will keep this ceremony in this month.
When they journeyed from Elim, the entire company of Israelites came to the Desert of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their exodus from the land of Egypt.
In the third month after the Israelites went out from the land of Egypt, on the very day, they came to the Desert of Sinai.
You are to observe the Feast of Unleavened Bread; seven days you must eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you, at the appointed time of the month of Abib, for at that time you came out of Egypt. No one may appear before me empty-handed.
"You must keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. For seven days you must eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you; do this at the appointed time of the month Abib, for in the month Abib you came out of Egypt.
"On the first day of the first month you are to set up the tabernacle, the tent of meeting.
So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month, in the second year.
