'Perishes' in the Bible
“The lion perishes for lack of prey,And the whelps of the lioness are scattered.
“Memory of him perishes from the earth,And he has no name abroad.
He perishes forever like his refuse;Those who have seen him will say, ‘Where is he?’
“They die in youth,And their life perishes among the cult prostitutes.
The hope of the righteous is gladness,But the expectation of the wicked perishes.
