'Pleased' in the Bible
Be pleased, LORD, to deliver me; LORD, hurry up and help me!
In this way I will know that you are pleased with me, and that my enemies will not shout in triumph over me.
It was not with their sword that they inherited the land, nor did their own arm deliver them. But it was by your power, your strength, and by the light of your face; because you were pleased with them.
Indeed, you are pleased with truth in the inner person, and you will teach me wisdom in my innermost parts.

But the LORD is pleased with those who fear him, with those who depend on his gracious love.
For the LORD is pleased with his people; he beautifies the afflicted with salvation.
