'Precepts' in the Bible

The precepts of the Lord are right,making the heart glad;the command of the Lord is radiant,making the eyes light up.

You have commanded that Your preceptsbe diligently kept.

I will meditate on Your preceptsand think about Your ways.

Help me understandthe meaning of Your preceptsso that I can meditate on Your wonders.

How I long for Your precepts!Give me life through Your righteousness.

I will walk freely in an open placebecause I seek Your precepts.

This is my practice:I obey Your precepts.

I am a friend to all who fear You,to those who keep Your precepts.

The arrogant have smeared me with lies,but I obey Your precepts with all my heart.

Redeem me from human oppression,and I will keep Your precepts.

I am insignificant and despised,but I do not forget Your precepts.

Consider how I love Your precepts;Lord, give me life according to Your faithful love.

I obey Your precepts and decrees,for all my ways are before You.

May Your hand be ready to help me,for I have chosen Your precepts.
