'Protects' in the Bible

The one who guards his mouth protects his life;the one who opens his lips invites his own ruin.

Righteousness protects the blameless, but wickedness brings down the sinner.

The Lord destroys the house of the proud,but He protects the widow’s territory.

The highway of the upright avoids evil;the one who guards his way protects his life.

If you say, “But we didn’t know about this,”won’t He who weighs hearts consider it?Won’t He who protects your life know?Won’t He repay a person according to his work?
