'Pupil' in the Bible

He found him in a desolate land,in a barren, howling wilderness;He surrounded him, cared for him,and protected him as the pupil of His eye.

They cast lots for their duties, young and old alike, teacher as well as pupil.

Keep my commands and live;protect my teachingsas the pupil of your eye.

For the Lord of Hosts says this: “He has sent Me for His glory against the nations who are plundering you, for anyone who touches you touches the pupil of His eye.
