'Read' in the Bible

And he said to them, Have ye never read what David did when he had need and hungered, he and those with him,

Have ye not even read this scripture, The stone which they that builded rejected, this has become the corner-stone:

But concerning the dead that they rise, have ye not read in the book of Moses, in the section of the bush, how God spoke to him, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?
