'Saliva' in the Bible

So David changed his behavior before them and acted like he was crazy in their presence. He scribbled on the doors of the gate, and let his saliva run down his beard.

Why won't you look away from me? Why don't you leave me alone so I can swallow my saliva?

Jesus took him away from the crowd to be alone with him. Putting his fingers into the man's ears, he touched the man's tongue with saliva.
