'Slaughtered' in the Bible

You handed us over to be slaughtered like sheep and you scattered us among the nations.

Because of You we are slain all day long;we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered.

He struck down many nationsand slaughtered mighty kings:

and slaughtered famous kings—        His love is eternal.

As when the one plows and breaks open the ground [and the soil scatters behind him],Our bones have been scattered at the mouth of Sheol [by the injustices of the wicked].
