'Sound' in the Bible

Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God,For to You I pray.

Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls;All Your breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.

God has ascended with a shout,The Lord, with the sound of a trumpet.

Bless our God, O peoples,And sound His praise abroad,

The clouds poured out water;The skies gave forth a sound;Your arrows flashed here and there.

The sound of Your thunder was in the whirlwind;The lightnings lit up the world;The earth trembled and shook.

How blessed are the people who know the joyful sound!O Lord, they walk in the light of Your countenance.

Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre,With the lyre and the sound of melody.

With trumpets and the sound of the hornShout joyfully before the King, the Lord.

At Your rebuke they fled,At the sound of Your thunder they hurried away.

They have hands, but they cannot feel;They have feet, but they cannot walk;They cannot make a sound with their throat.

The sound of joyful shouting and salvation is in the tents of the righteous;The right hand of the Lord does valiantly.

Praise Him with trumpet sound;Praise Him with harp and lyre.
