'Sown' in the Bible
Isaac sowed seed in that land, and in that year he reaped a hundred times what was sown. The Lord blessed him,
If one of their carcasses falls on any seed that is to be sown, it is clean;
The elders of that city will bring the cow down to a continually flowing stream, to a place not tilled or sown, and they will break its neck there by the stream.
let someone else eat what I have sown,and let my crops be uprooted.
Then He will send rain for your seed that you have sown in the ground, and the food, the produce of the ground, will be rich and plentiful. On that day your cattle will graze in open pastures.
They are barely planted, barely sown,their stem hardly takes root in the groundwhen He blows on them and they wither,and a whirlwind carries them away like stubble.
For as the earth produces its growth,and as a garden enables what is sown to spring up,so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praiseto spring up before all the nations.
“Go and announce directly to Jerusalem that this is what the Lord says:I remember the loyalty of your youth,your love as a bride—how you followed Me in the wilderness,in a land not sown.
They have sown wheat but harvested thorns.They have exhausted themselves but have no profit.Be put to shame by your harvestsbecause of the Lord’s burning anger.
Look! I am on your side; I will turn toward you, and you will be tilled and sown.
