'Station' in the Bible

Go to Pharaoh in the morning as he is going out to the water, and station yourself to meet him on the bank of the Nile; and you shall take in your hand the staff that was turned into a serpent.

So Moses said to Joshua, “Choose men for us and go out, fight against Amalek. Tomorrow I will station myself on the top of the hill with the staff of God in my hand.”

When Ben-hadad heard this message, as he was drinking with the kings in the temporary shelters, he said to his servants, “Station yourselves.” So they stationed themselves against the city.

You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the Lord is with you.”

For thus the Lord says to me,“Go, station the lookout, let him report what he sees.

“I will depose you from your office,And I will pull you down from your station.

Lift up a signal against the walls of Babylon;Post a strong guard,Station sentries,Place men in ambush!For the Lord has both purposed and performedWhat He spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.

I will stand on my guard postAnd station myself on the rampart;And I will keep watch to see what He will speak to me,And how I may reply when I am reproved.
