'Steal' in the Bible

Now you have indeed gone away because you longed greatly for your father’s house; but why did you steal my gods?”

Behold, the money which we found in the mouth of our sacks we have brought back to you from the land of Canaan. How then could we steal silver or gold from your lord’s house?

“You shall not steal.

‘You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another.

‘You shall not steal.

So the people went by stealth into the city that day, as people who are humiliated steal away when they flee in battle.

Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head;Those who would destroy me are powerful, being wrongfully my enemies;What I did not steal, I then have to restore.

That I not be full and deny You and say, “Who is the Lord?”Or that I not be in want and steal,And profane the name of my God.
