'Stretching' in the Bible

Covering thyself with light as with a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent-curtain; --

and he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow it and go further, he shall reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of thy land, O Immanuel!

And, stretching out his hand to his disciples, he said, Behold my mother and my brethren;

And stretching forth his hand he touched him, saying, I will; be thou cleansed: and immediately the leprosy departed from him.

And Agrippa said to Paul, It is permitted thee to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretching out his hand answered in his defence:

Brethren, I do not count to have got possession myself; but one thing forgetting the things behind, and stretching out to the things before,
