'Struggle' in the Bible
Now I urge you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, and by the love that the Spirit produces, to join me in my struggle, earnestly praying to God for me
For our struggle is not against human opponents, but against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers in the darkness around us, and evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm.
You have the same struggle that you saw in me and now hear that I am still having.
I work hard and struggle to do this, using the energy that he powerfully provides in me.
For I want you to know how much I struggle for you, for those in Laodicea, and for all who have never seen me face to face.
To this end we work hard and struggle, because we have set our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, that is, of those who believe.
But you must continue to remember those earlier days, how after you were enlightened you endured a hard and painful struggle.
In your struggle against sin you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
