'Teaching' in the Bible

“Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and ordinances I am teaching you to follow, so that you may live, enter, and take possession of the land Yahweh, the God of your fathers, is giving you.

Let my teaching fall like rainand my word settle like dew,like gentle rain on new grassand showers on tender plants.

For many years Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without instruction,

You have said, “My teaching is sound,and I am pure in Your sight.”

For a command is a lamp, teaching is a light,and corrective discipline is the way to life.
