'Thing' in the Bible

While it remained did it not remain to thee? and sold, was it not in thine own power? Why is it that thou hast purposed this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied to men, but to God.

Different persons therefore cried out some different thing; for the assembly was tumultuous, and the most did not know for what cause they had come together.

But concerning those of the nations who have believed, we have written, deciding that they should observe no such thing, only to keep themselves both from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication.

Why should it be judged a thing incredible in your sight if God raises the dead?
