'Thus' in the Bible

Go and say to David my servant, Thus saith Jehovah: Thou shalt not build me a house to dwell in;

And now, thus shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: I took thee from the pasture-grounds, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people Israel;

Go and speak to David saying, Thus saith Jehovah: I offer thee three things; choose one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

And Gad came to David, and said to him, Thus saith Jehovah:

And there were more head-men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar, and thus were they divided: of the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen heads of fathers' houses, and eight of the sons of Ithamar according to their fathers' houses.
