'Transgressions' in the Bible

“Have I concealed my transgressions like Adam or like other men,By hiding my wickedness in my bosom,

“If you have sinned, what do you accomplish against Him?And if your transgressions are multiplied, what have you done to Him?

Then He declares to them [the true character of] their deedsAnd their transgressions, that they have acted arrogantly [with presumption and notions of self-sufficiency].
