'Vengeance' in the Bible

For the LORD has a day of vengeance, a year of recompense for Zion's cause.

Say to those with anxious hearts, "Be strong, do not be afraid! Here is your God he will bring vengeance, he will bring divine retribution, and he will save you.'

Your nakedness will be exposed, and your disgrace will also be seen. I'll take vengeance, and I will spare no mortal.
