'Wailing' in the Bible

In their streets they have girded themselves with sackcloth;On their housetops and in their squaresEveryone is wailing, dissolved in tears.

For their cry echoesthroughout the territory of Moab.Their wailing reaches Eglaim;their wailing reaches Beer-elim.

On that day the Lord God of Hostscalled for weeping, for wailing, for shaven heads,and for the wearing of sackcloth.
