'Abandon' in the Bible

from those who abandon the right pathsto walk in ways of darkness,

for I am giving you good instruction.Don’t abandon my teaching.

Don’t abandon wisdom, and she will watch over you;love her, and she will guard you.

Don’t abandon your friend or your father’s friend,and don’t go to your brother’s housein your time of calamity;better a neighbor nearby than a brother far away.
