'Alive' in the Bible

After he had suffered, he had shown himself alive to them by many convincing proofs, appearing to them during a period of 40 days and telling them about the kingdom of God.

He extended his hand and helped her get up. Then he called the saints, including the widows, and gave her back to them alive.

But Paul went down, bent over him, took him into his arms, and said, "Stop being alarmed, because he's still alive."

They took the young man away alive and were greatly relieved.

Instead, they had several arguments with him about their own religion and about a certain Jesus who had died but Paul kept asserting he was alive.
