Our letter of recommendation is yourselves--a letter written on our hearts and everywhere known and read. The Good News that we brought you did not come to you in words only, but also with power and with the Holy Spirit and with much certainty, for you know the sort of men we became among you, as examples for your sakes.
The Spirit Himself bears witness, along with our own spirits, to the fact that we are children of God;
We can know that we are continuing in union with Him and that He is continuing in union with us, by the fact that He has given us a portion of His Spirit.
