'Assist' in the Bible

And with you there shall be a man [to assist you] from each tribe, each being the head of his father’s household.

These are the names of the men who are to assist you:Elizur son of Shedeur from Reuben;

“Bring the tribe of Levi near and present them to Aaron the priest to assist him.

You must take one leader from every tribe to assist in allocating the land as an inheritance.
