'Blessing' in the Bible
Salvation belongs to the Lord;Your blessing be upon Your people! Selah.
He shall receive a blessing from the LordAnd righteousness from the God of his salvation.
All day long he is gracious and lends,And his descendants are a blessing.
He also loved cursing, so it came to him;And he did not delight in blessing, so it was far from him.
Nor do those who pass by say,“The blessing of the Lord be upon you;We bless you in the name of the Lord.”
It is like the dew of HermonComing down upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forever.
