'Bounty' in the Bible
King Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire which she requested, besides what he gave her according to his royal bounty. Then she turned and went to her own land together with her servants.
“Behold, we are slaves today,And as to the land which You gave to our fathers to eat of its fruit and its bounty,Behold, we are slaves in it.
Drinks were served in golden vessels of various kinds, and the royal wine was plentiful according to the king’s bounty.
Then the king gave a great banquet, Esther’s banquet, for all his princes and his servants; he also made a holiday for the provinces and gave gifts according to the king’s bounty.
You have crowned the year with Your bounty,And Your paths drip with fatness.
“They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion,And they will be radiant over the bounty of the Lord—Over the grain and the new wine and the oil,And over the young of the flock and the herd;And their life will be like a watered garden,And they will never languish again.
