'Bowed' in the Bible

Again Mephibosheth lay himself face down and said, “What is your servant, that you would be concerned for a dead dog like me?”

So Joab came to the king and told him. Then David called for Absalom, and he came to the king and bowed his face to the ground before the king; and the king kissed Absalom.

Then Joab said to the Cushite (Ethiopian), “Go, tell the king what you have seen.” And the Cushite bowed to Joab and ran.

“He bowed the heavens also, and came downWith thick darkness under His feet.

Araunah looked down and saw the king and his servants crossing over toward him; and he went out and bowed before the king with his face toward the ground.
