'Cleanness' in the Bible

“The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness;According to the cleanness of my hands He has rewarded me.

“Therefore the Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness,According to my cleanness in His sight.

“He will even rescue the one [for whom you intercede] who is not innocent;And he will be rescued through the cleanness of your hands.”

The Lord dealt with me according to my righteousness (moral character, spiritual integrity);According to the cleanness of my hands He has rewarded me.

Therefore the Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness (moral character, spiritual integrity),According to the cleanness of my hands in His sight.

“I also gave you cleanness of teeth [because of the famine] in all your citiesAnd lack of bread in all your places,Yet you have not returned to Me [in repentance],” says the Lord.
