'Defame' in the Bible

“But you smear me with lies [you defame my character most untruthfully];You are all worthless physicians and have no remedy to offer.

When someone comes to visit, he pretends to be friendly; he thinks of ways to defame me, and when he leaves he slanders me.

"I've heard Moab's insults and the curses from those Ammonites by which they defame my people and boast about their territory.
