'Delay' in the Bible

So without delay the king sent a soldier and ordered him to bring John's head. The soldier went and beheaded him in prison.

So they came here with me, and the next day without any delay I sat down in the judge's seat and ordered the man to be brought in.

For "in a very little while the one who is coming will return he will not delay;

He swore an oath by the one who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and everything in it, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it: "There will be no more delay.
