'Deride' in the Bible

Bear with me, and I speak, And after my speaking -- ye may deride.

You have set us at strife against our neighbors and our enemies deride us.

My enemies have reproached me all day long;Those who deride me have used my name as a curse.

Even though the arrogant utterly deride me, I do not turn away from your instruction.

I also in your calamity do laugh, I deride when your fear cometh,

And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it.
