'Desiring' in the Bible

For not a God desiring wickedness art Thou, Evil inhabiteth Thee not.

Because of the crushing of the poor and the weeping of those in need, now will I come to his help, says the Lord; I will give him the salvation which he is desiring.

Who is the man that is desiring life? Loving days to see good?

Be turned from evil, and do good; make a search for peace, desiring it with all your heart.

Incline Your ear, O Lord, and answer me,For I am distressed and needy [I long for Your help].

Great are the works of Jehovah, Sought out by all desiring them.

For the LORD has chosen Zion, desiring it as his dwelling place.
