'Devoid' in the Bible
They are a nation devoid of purpose and without insight.
A horse is a false hope for victory;Nor does it deliver anyone by its great strength.
Therefore, remove sorrow and anger from your heart and put away pain from your body, for childhood and the prime of life are fleeting.
Their inhabitants are devoid of power, and are terrified and put to shame. They've become like plants in the field, like green shoots, like grass on rooftops, scorched by the east wind.
Be warned, Jerusalem,or I will turn away from you;I will make you a desolation,a land without inhabitants.
Every man is stupid, devoid of knowledge;Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols; For his molten images are deceitful,And there is no breath in them.
They are worthless and devoid of promise, a work of delusion and mockery; In their time of [trial and] punishment they will perish [without hope].
All mankind is stupid, devoid of knowledge;Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols,For his molten images are deceitful,And there is no breath in them.
