'Devoured' in the Bible

Are we not accounted by him as foreigners? for he hath sold us, and hath also quite devoured our money.

Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into one of the pits, and we will say, And evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

And he knew it, and said, It is my son's coat: an evil beast hath devoured him; Joseph is without doubt torn in pieces.
