23 Bible Verses about Reckoning

Now what will you do in the day of punishment,
And in the devastation which will come from afar?
To whom will you flee for help?
And where will you leave your wealth?

Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment.

Is this blessing then on the circumcised, or on the uncircumcised also? For we say, “Faith was credited to Abraham as righteousness.” How then was it credited? While he was circumcised, or uncircumcised? Not while circumcised, but while uncircumcised; and he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had while uncircumcised, so that he might be the father of all who believe without being circumcised, that righteousness might be credited to them,

Therefore it was also credited to him as righteousness.

and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness,” and he was called the friend of God.

Even so Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.

but for our sake also, to whom it will be credited, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead,

And it was reckoned to him for righteousness,
To all generations forever.

for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

So if the uncircumcised man keeps the requirements of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision?

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; may it not be counted against them.

Are we not reckoned by him as foreigners? For he has sold us, and has also entirely consumed our purchase price.

so that the blood of all the prophets, shed since the foundation of the world, may be charged against this generation,

Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.” And He said to him, “You have judged correctly.”
